There was a watermelon

A-growing in the garden.

And in the garden wall there was a hole.

A skinny little nigger

Said if he's a little bigger.

He'd climb over the garden wall.

He'd sneak tip like a rabbit,

And then he'd grab it.

And ther'd be no watermelon there at all.
