[Two Crows] Sharp MS 4245/. Sung by James Chisholm, Nellysford Va., May 21, 1918.
There were two crows sat on one tree.
They were just as black as crows could be.
Some rascal tried to injure me
By cutting down my apple tree.
[Two Crows] Wilkinson C 1935. Sung by James Chisholm, Nellysford Va., March 12, 1936.
There were two crows sat on one tree,
They were just as black as crows could be.
Some rascal tried to injure me
By cutting down my apple tree.
But he didn't injure me at all,
For I had apples all the fall.
There were two crows sat on one tree,
They were just as black as crows could be.
There were two crows sat on one tree.
They were just as black crows could be.
The old one said unto the cub,
What shall we young crows do for grub?
