Three black crows sat on a tree,
And they were black as black could be.
Said one crow unto his mate,
'What shall we do for bread to ate?'
"There lies a horse on yonder plain
That has but lately been slain.
We'll perch ourselves on his backbone
And eat his eyes out one by one."
