And they were black as crows could be,

2. Said one old crow unto his mate,
"What will we do for food to ate?"
3. "There's an old dead horse on yonder lane
And it's just three days since he was slain."
4. "We'll place ourselves on his backbone
And pick his eyes out one by one."
