1. The Three Crows (Child 26)- Sung by Scott Stuart of St. Andrews, N.B.

1. Two old crows sat on a tree,
Fol dol the daddie oh
And they were black as crows could be,
Fol dol the daddie oh.

2. Said one old crow unto his mate,
"What will we do for food to ate?"

3. "There's an old dead horse on yonder lane
And it's just three days since he was slain."

4. "We'll place ourselves on his backbone
And pick his eyes out one by one."
