The Bonny Brown Girl- Scott (WV) 1969 Boette
[Categorized as Child No. 73 by Botte in Singa Hypsy Doodle. This is not child 73. However, if it's authentic, its one of the rarest ballads collected -- a version of Child 295, the only version that's not the broadside, Sally and her Truelove Billie. Aside from a version Child 295 B that has been questioned (see Steve Gardner's article), it is the only true traditional version of Child 295.
