NOTES: "Come On in This House" a spiritual by the Fairfield Four that is of unknown origin and is known by a variety of names including "It's Gonna Rain" and "Why Don't You Come On in This House?" A variety of versions can be heard on Youtube.
One early version is by Mitchell's Christian Singers- Volume 3 on Document Records circa 1938 titled, "Brother Come On In." Here's one of the earliest versions of this spiritual (one-part song):
