1. There lived two sisters in one bower,
      Binorrie oh and Binorrie oh,
And they hae fa'en in love wi' a bonnie miller laddie,
      He's the bonnie miller laddie o' Binorrie oh.

2  "Oh sister, oh sister, will ye take a walk,
      Binorrie oh and Binorrie oh,
And you'll hear the blackbirds sing and him whistle owre his tune,
  To the bonnie miller laddie o' Binorrie oh.

3   They walk-ed east and they walk-ed west,
      Binorrie oh and Binorrie oh,
Until at last the elder dang the younger in,
   To the bonnie milldams o' Binorrie oh.

4    O sister, O sister come gie me your hand
      Binorrie oh and Binorrie oh,
I'll gie ye a' my siller and the third pairt o' my lan',
    If ye'll tak me oot o' the dams o' Binorrie, oh.

5   It wisna for that 'at I dang ye in,

Twas you so very fair and I so very din,

6    The miller's servant she came down to the dam,

Twas for a pail o' water to wash the miller's hands,

7 Oh miller, oh miller there's fish in your dam
      Binorrie oh and Binorrie oh,
Or else a pretty maid or else a white swan,
  Sail up and doon the dams o' Binorrie, oh.

8. Mony was there at her takin' oot

And when they had her oot, they stretched her on a stane,
 She's the bonnie miller lassie o' Binorrie oh.

9. They didn't rin[1] by her tail silk

But they did rin by her middle ticht

10   Mony the ane was at her funeral

But now the green grass grows over her head
