B. The Two Brothers. From Mrs. James Robertson, Perrysville, Ohio. Eddy B

1. Can you throw a stone,
Or can you toss a ball?
"I am too little, I am too young,
Pray brother let me be.

2. He pulled his little penknife,
It being keen and sharp,
And pierced it through and through
Poor Johnny's heart.

3. "'When you chance to see my old mother,
And she inquires for me,
Tell her I've gone to join my little school mates,
No more of me she'll see.

4. "Go, dig my grave both wide and deep,
And bury my Bible at my head,
My hymn book at my feet,
My bow and arrow by my right side,
The sweeter that I might sleep."
