The Two Brothers- Ozro Keeton (Brown's Cove, VA) 1916 Sharp D

1. But when young Suse came to know this,
She charmed the birds all out of their nests,
And charmed young John all out of his grave,
Where he was resting in peace.

2 O what do you want with me, young Suse,
O  what do you want with me?
I  want one kiss from your sweet lips
And then I can rest in peace.

[Ozro only remembered the two end verses.  Additional lyrics (partial verses) from his mother supplied in Davis p. 156]

Two little boys went to school
And they fell all in a play.

 .   .   .   .   .
And split from gore to gore.
.  .  .  .  .
That it may bleed no more.

 .  .  .  .  .
 .  .  .  .
Tell them I have done learned my lessons,
And gone to the mountain to train my hounds to run.
