Douglas Tragedy-
sung by Alex Robb (1863-1940) of  New Deer, Aberdeenshire, collected Greig.

He's placed Lady Margret on a milk-white steed,
Himself on a dapple grey,
His bugle horn down by his side,
An' slowly they both rode away.

"Come out, come out, Lady Margret,' he said,
"And hold my steed in your hand,
Till I fight with your seven brothers bold,
And your father, I'll make a stand."
