[Single stanza from Davis- Traditional Ballads of Virginia, 1929. This is Davis E. for the Child ballad, Edward. Clearly a mistake since it's a US version of Berkshire Tragedy.

Barry has commented (BFSSNE Vol. 1)in his review of TBV that "Edward (Child 13) E, (Page 124) is from "The Bloody Miller." The motif of the nose-bleed is found already in the earliest text "The Wittam Miller," reprinted in Roxburghe Balads, VIII, 629.
