The Wee Wee Man- Carson (MA) 1908 Barry MS
[From Barry MS-- this isn't the Child ballad, Wee Wee Man, but a related (form, melody, text) ballad to Child 279-A, The Gaberlunyie man. It appears in an Appendix to 279-A as Bonson No. 47. Carson was one of Barry's important informants - she countributed a version of the Jolly Beggar and he published the music without text in the 1909 JOAFL.

Come tripping o'er the lea.

Come tripping o'er the lea.
