English & Other Versions 51. Lizie Wan
[The Bloody Brother, not mentioned by Child, was first printed as "The Leeds Tragedy, or, The Bloody Brother" in London circa 1750 (Barry BFSNE Vol. 7) and several reprints may be found from the early 1800s onward in the Bodelian library. Because the theme is nearly the same as Lizzie Wan, The Leeds Tragedy should be included perhaps as an appendix.

Traditional versions of Lizzie Wan are rare. These four versions are the main traditional versions; there are a few others I'll track down at some point.
