NOTES: "The Devil's No Relation at All" comes from the C. & M. A. Gospel Singers (Christian and Missionary Alliance Gospel Singers) circa 1925 and is one of a handful of songs reacting against the famous 1925 Scopes Monkey Tria (John T. Scopes was convicted of teaching evolution in a public school). The Cleveland Colored Quintet did the related "The Monkey's No Relation of Mine" which is the last line of the last chorus of "The Devil's No Relation at All". The group also was known as Christian and Missionary Alliance Quintette.
