Bring Me Back the One I love- No source named, published in North Ulster by Sam Henry, Feb. 25, 1933

As I stood by my cabin door,
To see my true love passing by
He passed me with another girl,
And she was fairer still than I.

CHORUS: Oh, bring me back the one I love
Oh, bring, oh bring him back to me
If I only have the one I love
It's happy, happy would I be.

If my love's heart was made of glass,
That I could see it through and through
I would read the lines of his dear heart
And see if he did love me true.

There is a tree I oftimes pass,
That bears a leaf as green as any grass.
But not so green as my heart's true,
When you love one you can't love two.
