NOTES: A fingerstyle blues written by Richard Matteson in 1986 and performed by The Matteson Blues featuring his brother Jeff Matteson on harmonica. The lyrics are related to Minglewood Blues, attributed to Noah Lewis with Cannon's Jug Stompers and other old-time songs such as Georgia Buck.
Richard Matteson rewrote the song as an instrumental [Cello, Harmonica and Guitar] in 1992 titling it "The Carolina Rag" and performed it as a tribute to Chet Atkins who shared the stage with Matteson.
Here are the lyrics to “No More Trouble Blues” by Richard Matteson
Intro
Don't you never get one woman on your mind
She'll keep you in trouble all the time,
Have Lot's of women, you'll be fine,
No mo' trouble just good time.
Don't you ever let your woman have her way,
She'll Keep you in trouble every day.
Have life your way, then you'll say,
No more trouble, happy day.
Don't you ever have just one woman as your friend,
'Cause when you're out, another man is in,
Have life your way, then you'll say,
No more trouble, happy day.
